Listen to me, my American friends.
The man under whose administration, in 1999, the subprime crisis and the banking system meltdown were engineered – Bill Clinton – supported Barack Obama as the man who would bring change and hope to America.
This endorsement took place in the middle of a thirty minutes political commercial on TV, at the market price. By and large, Obama spent four times more money on his campaign than John McCain. Moreover, he spent more money that any other presidential candidate in the history of the United States, including George Bush Jr. in 2004. And such big money came from where big money is : the greedy superrich. Nevertheless, Obama pretends he stands for the poor, the needy and the underprivileged.
The man – Obama – who listened politely to Rashid Khalidi, the Columbia academic and whitewasher of suicide terrorism, saying that Israel was a terrorist State, and did not react, now pretends he is Israel’s best friend.
The man – Obama, again – who opposed the very idea of a war against the murderous rogue regime in Iraq – Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship -, when everybody else in America knew that, after 9/11, terrorism-supporting dictators, especially of the Islamo-fascist brand, should be taught a lesson, now says he is a patriotic American.
And America, the brave and free nation, is going to elect him ?
And American Jews are going to vote for him ?
That cannot be.
There are still a few days left. Please, my American friends, think twice about about all that.
Take the advice of an old Jew of France, whose parents were rescued by your parents or grandparents, the World War II GI’s, and remember the Yiddish proverb : Tzores vos Got git un tzores vos men nemt alein. There are God-inflicted pains on the one hand, and self-inflicted pains on the second hand.
